You can pick from three pre-packaged plans and add extras like identity fraud protection or bicycle cover. These policies are underwritten by AIG Asia Pacific Insurance Pte Ltd, so you’re in safe hands.

However, since the insurance is underwritten by AIG, their claim process could involve dealing directly with AIG, instead of Multi-Lines.

For those with high-value items, their jewelry and watch insurance offers protection against accidental loss, theft, and even mysterious disappearances. And if you have a prized collection of handbags, art, or wine? They can cover that too.

What we like most about this agency is their policy flexibility—they offer personalized options that cater to HDB, private apartments, and landed properties. This means you can get something that fits your specific living situation.

One downside, however, is that AKGI doesn’t have a mobile app for quick access to your policies and to manage claims on the go, which some other providers do offer.

However, since they offer so many types of insurance, their home insurance might not be as fine-tuned as those from companies that focus only on home coverage. It’s something to keep in mind when weighing your options.
